For Your Consideration A Civilian Conservation Corps Tunic Mid 1930s This is a US Civilian Conservation Uniform Tunic from the Mid 1930s. Its an example of the Old Style WWl Army Tunic which were altered and re Issued to the CCC in the 1930s. The upper pockets and the epilettes were removed, the collar was altered and the buttons Replaced with plain brown bakelite buttons. 1 button is missing. The Tunic is in Excellent Unworn Condition and very small in size, making it a Great Display Piece. Specification tag in the lining dates this to a 1920 Army Contract. These CCC Items are becoming harder and harder to find and not surprising when one considers that they are now about 75yrs old!
