CLARENCE HOUSE INTRICATELY WOVEN JACQUARD "DRAGON EMPRESS" This is one of my all time favorite fabrics. This Clarence House French import is called Dragon Empress #32696. It is a very intricately woven jacquard with an Asian feel. The colors are simply divine; think warm caramel, cocoa, red, camel, black, white and even a touch of pink. The vertical repeat is 17" and the horizontal repeat is 14". It is 100% spun rayon. It has a great hand, soft as butta, think cashmere. As you know, Clarence House sells to designers only. This beauty sells for $239.00 a yard (that's not the retail price mind you) and easily worth twice that much. I can't say enough about this fabric. It's a medium weight fabric that can be used for drapery (it drapes beautifully) and upholstery. This piece measures 54" long by 55" wide.
