CLARICE CLIFF GAYDAY SIDE PLATE Handpainted floral design with yellow and black bands on cream ground Fully backstamped ~ Dates to 1936c In excellent condition ~ No chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing There are just a couple of small colour loss spots to the centre pattern and very light wear to the black rim edge To the edge of the plate where the black and yellow band meets there is a 3mm very shallow dip which is under the glaze and was incurred in production, it is only seen under closer inspection The above points certainly do not detract, please see photographs No other colours loss or wear ~ No real signs of previous use Gorgeous on display with vibrant colours and eye catching pattern ~ A fab addition to any collection or display!
