Postcard of Clarinda Iowa, "Capt. Baldwin's Air Ship July 4th 1907 Clainda Iowa", blimp balloon zeplinn early flight. Shows group of people on ground and large American flag. Real photo KRUXO in stampbox, unused @1907. Clarinda is located in Page County, about 15 miles east of Shenandoah, 15 miles west of Bedford, and 40 miles southeast of Omaha. Condition is excellent, sharp focus . Th is is 1 of many Iowa postcard auctions I am listing on ebay as I am selling my 35-year collection of real photo postcards. Please watch my postcard auctions on eBay for the next 2 months. I will be offering some very unusual and high quality Iowa real photo postcards. The cards are from various Iowa towns and include railroad, occupational, horse drawn fire wagon and delivery wagon, general store, disaster, airplane and airship. I plan to list about 3 exceptional postcards a week. Abbreviations: rppc = real photo postcard, @ = estimate, my best guess, used = postal used, unused = not postal used but may have written message. W inner pays $1.50 postage and handling cost. Multiple auction wins shipped together to reduce total postage cost when possible. Zeppelin is the correct spelling for a rigid air ship of this era
