From a local Rhode Island estate...classic Atmos LeCoultre perpetual motion mantle clock...has been in storage for over twenty years...serial number at top is 11191...on the movement it reads VXN Swiss Atmos 10437 ...fifteen jewels...I believe the clock is from the fifties or sixties...at the level it reads Atmos LeCoultre Co. Swiss...the clock and movement appears in great condition...the glass is good as well...the gold or brass metal at the base and along the sides of the glass are worn...tiny bit of corrosion on the lever that locks the pendulum...I wiped the case and base with a damp cloth to take away the dust...I ran the clock three times...the first session was for two hours, the next three and the last five hours...kept spot on accurate time although it did eventually stop...I adjusted the level several times and got it to run longer with each adjustment...probably a combination of not having run in over twenty years and finding the right level...all in all a nice piece...taking into account the wear on the metal my reserve is reasonably low...good luck and please check our feedback and other fine auctions.
