Up for bid is a Merian C. Cooper King Kong Statue by DeVito art limited edition #201/1000 mint in box. This rare piece depicts the famous climactic scene from the classic 1933 film King Kong. The paint and craftsmanship on this statue is exceptionally detailed. Manufactured from cold cast porcelain, the "Eighth Wonder of the World" was sculpted exclusively for the Merian C. Cooper Estate by artist Joe Devito. This sculpture has been displayed for a short period of time within a glass display case inside a smoke free environment. Statue comes complete with all original packing material, collector's box, and shipping box. This highly detailed and dynamic King Kong replica would make a great addition to any collector's showcase! Statue stands approximately 14" high upon a 6" diameter faux wood display base.
