This is called a "classic" style rollerball pen. This pen was made from a piece of Kingwood. The wood was turned by me in my shop, sanded to 600 grit, then finished with multiple coats of friction polish. The hardware is a mixture of black and gold colored. The pen uses a Schmidt style rollerball refill. The pen will either come with a Schmidt "F" refill or a PIC ceramic refill. I've had these kits in my shop for several years and am finally getting around to making the pens so I don't know how good the refill is.The cap unscrews from over the tip and screws to the back of the pen while in use.
