This is The Etiology of Traumatic Infective Diseases by Dr. Robert Koch. Bound in full green leather with gilt titles and tooling. Gilt edges marbled endpapers; satin bookmarks. This is a 1991 Classics of Medicine Library facsimile reprint of the 1880 original edition. The book is in near fine condition with no visible flaws. There is a bookplate inside listing the copy number of the limited edition, and also the doctor to whom the book belonged previously. This is a great gift for the doctor or med student in your family to dress up an office or offer inspiration. Please see my auctions for other Classics of Medicine titles.
