This is one of, if not the, prettiest cigarette cases I've ever owned, but the collection is being thinned out and lots of things are gone and more are going. This one would grace any collection. The finish is beautiful and the closure assembly works perfectly. I've never attempted to clean or polish it-you may or may not want to-it's fine to me as it is. The case is 5.5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide. As you know, the Evans name is among the leaders in vintage lighters and cases. I can only guess, but I think possibly this one is from the fifties. One thing is for certain, though-they won't make any more of these, so this may be a great opportunity for you to own a piece of tobacco history. Questions are welcome. thanks for looking....
