This is for a lovely old hand carved figural briar pipe made around the time of world war showing a detailed image of Field Marshal Montgomery. It was hand made in St Claude in France and is stamped as such on the side. It shows nice detail being stained a different colour in the briar to show the beret and with two black ribbons on the back of the beret. It has only been very lightly smoked and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or fills ..etc. It measures 140mm long, the bowl is 48mm high and the internal bowl diameter measures 20mm.
