Offered is a good quality binocular microscope in very goodoriginal condition. The microscope is unsigned but it typical of theinstruments produced by H Crouch in about 1880. The microscope is of the typical Jackson construction with a cast horse shoe base supporting the brass lacquered body on trunnoins. The stage is circular and rotates through 360degrees and has a circular black glass top. Below the stage is a collar to accept the substage accessories. Below this is the plano-concave mirror in a gimble on a sliding collar. The binocular tubes are in very good condition with almost no discernable wear. The Wenham prism is located in a drawer just above the nosepiece and is good with no chips. The Fine focus is via a screw acting on a sprung lever. At the top of the binocular body is the inter-ocular focusing. The microscope comes with the following accessories; 2 Binocular eyepieces. A 1/6inch objective marked Watson in a can. A 1/4inch objective in a can. A 1inch objective in a can. An analyser in a can. A sub-stage poleriser. A sub-stage condenser. A sub-stage parabolic condenser. A table top bullseye.
