Clear Quart Kinsella Mason Canning Fruit jar. This is Redbook # 1421. It is strongly embossed on the face Kinsella 1874 True Mason. The reverse side is well embossed with a large 1, I or gripper ridge at the shoulder. The recessed base is well embossed with 12 inside concentric circles around the valve circle. This is a beaded neck seal jar. The zinc lid is embossed Ball in script on the exterior with a perfect white porcelain liner embossed Genuine Zinc Cap for Ball Mason Jars and 2 diamonds on the interior. There are no holes or splits in the lid. The smooth lip is in perfect condition and the entire jar is chip, crack and ding free. There are some minor scratches expected for a jar that was used for canning. The jar has a few seed bubbles and slightly raised side seams that add to the character of this jar.
