Clem Wilding (1909-1989) was a well-respected national treasure from Central Missouri. His commercial career began in the 1950's and he marketed his carvings through ads in the Audubon magazine. His birds are highly collectable. This lovely piece is signed by Clem Wilding, and has all of the components that authenticate it as well. The birds legs are put into tiny holes into the birds body and into the wood base in the same fashion; the feet are then painted onto the wood base. The piece measures about 3"W x 3.5"H x 4"D. It's in excellent conditionSee my other listings for more birds.Posted with eBay Mobile
