A lovely copy with rare dust jacket of a much beloved and difficult to obtain childrens classic. Blackie and Son, publishers. 1st. edition, c. 1927, green cloth, small 8vo., 72 colored plates, bright text, bright plates, very small crease of lower right corner first few pages, an attractive copy especially for the brightness and color of the plates, an extremely clean copy, very good+ with dust jacket (small losses to top, good-). PLEASE NOTE: The shadowing that appears in some of the prints is a result of scanning the book and is not in the print itself.
