CM Indian costume made of soft buckskin leather for the Breyer's classic size horse, Painted Ponies, and Peter STone (not sure if it's the their classic size is called). The bosal is made of rawhide and the headstall attached to the bosal is a light weight rope that has beads hand sewn to it using Sinew (a heavy type thread found in trading posts). Sinew was used for most sewing purposes on costume. The breast plate features beads sewn on, glued on feathers, and to set the breastplate off, t is an added piece of turquoise in the front of the breastplate. The indian saddle is made with soft buckskin leather, a piece of a woven blanket. The saddle is kept in place by a leather girth with velcro attachments. The spear is made of a small K-Bob dowl and and has a sharp point to it (becareful). Leather has been sewn around the dowl with black rabbit fur and a piece of turquoise are placed near the spear head for decoration. The shield is made of rawhide. Gray leather is sewn to the rawhide to create the shield with buckskin leather is added for the decorations around the shield. Feathers were glued onto the shield. The design on the shield is a Navajo symbols for December. The designs were painted on using black leather dye. I'm still working on getting the arrows (just haven't figured out how exactly I'm going to do it). I have never read more
