Up for autcion is a customized Breyer traditional scale Ruffian. This model is a portrait model for the champion race-filly Go For Wand, who tragically broke down in the 1990 Breeder's Cup Distaff. The model was painted by Julie Cervantes and is in excellent condition (she has not been shown yet, seams sanded, logo removed). She is signed on the belly with the passage "Go For Wand: A champion forever in our hearts." She comes with a hardcover book titled Toroughbred Legends: Go For Wand. Written by Bill Heller, the book is 143 pages and is in excellent condition as well. I appologize if the pictures are a little dark, on some computers they are dark, but nice and clear on others. **I am selling most of my collection over the next month to pay for a surgery on my Lab-mix (torn cruciate ligament).
