A lovely early Victorian coffee cup, Coalport with Adelaide moulding.The pattern number, in gilt is 3 above 771. There are two faint hairline on the outside of the cup, left hand side. These are not seen on the interior as the cup is so richly decorated. The gilding is very good everywhere. The coloured decoration is all on the interior, very carefully painted posies of flowers which show up well against the dark blue ground. A very decorative item.
