Up for bid is a private collection of ancient artifacts from the north coast of Alaska. They were legally collected over a 15 year period starting in the early 70's. They originate from about 2,000 years ago to about the time trade started with Russia. They are guaranteed to be genuine and have a value of over $10,000.00. T are 78 pieces in all and are made of all of the traditional materials to include bone, ivory, slate, wood, baleen, antler, chert, horn, sinew, and animal claws. Among them are harpoon heads, connector shafts, bird points, fish points, 3 complete adzes including one intact one, scrapers, ulus and ulu blades, lebrets, amulets, baskets, spoons, shovels, dalls, toys, a mukluck, a net making tool, digging sticks and pike points, a grappling hook, ice scratchers, net floats and net sinkers, jewelry and many more. Many museums do not have stuff this nice. They are in two 2 foot by 4 foot display cases. I am happy to answer any question and take more pictures for interested parties.
