Old Cobalt Blue Souvenir China Dish of Oil Well, Evangeline LA, probably Germany Vintage souvenir china dish or ashtray, the rim is formed into a figure of an Art Nouveau woman's head at the top, and a horsehoe at the bottom. It is unmarked, but I believe it was probably made in Germany circa 1920's-30's. The unusual color transfer view is of an oil field, and the printed legend reads "A Floving (Flowing) Oil Well, Evangeline, La." 5 1/4" long, and 4" wide. It displays very well, with no chips or decor wear visible on the front, however there are three small rim chips seen on the back side. Selling as is.
