Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a one-gallon jug with cobalt floral decoration, attributed to Julius Norton, Bennington, VT; a two-gallon jug with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "D. WESTON / ELLENVILLE NY"; and a two-gallon jug with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "EDMANDS & CO.". Unsigned Norton jug with reglued handle. Weston jug with an in-the-firing line to reverse, a small spout chip, a few iron pings to surface, and a small area of exfoliation to front. Edmands jug in excellent condition with an in-the-firing contact mark to handle and a small piece of clay adhered to front.
