I have had this lamp for over 20 years. It works perfectly. The base and body are made of metal, the Coca Cola inserts are glass. This is a two sided lamp and both glass pieces are identical. There are no scratches on the finish. The cord was partially cut and has been taped back together with electrical tape. It works fine, and has always worked after this repair. If this bothers you, you can always replace the cord easily. The lamp base is gloss black, the globe body is gloss white. This is a great lamp and great accent piece. I am redecorating and rather than put it in a closet, would like to find it a good home. Please email with any questions before buying or making an offer. ALL sales are final. Buyer to pay $60 for packing, shipping and insurance. Lamp to be professionally packaged so as to avoid breakage during shipping. Any amount not used for packing and shipping will be refunded to the buyer after the item ships.
