This is a silver bar from the " Coca-Cola Bottling Company 75th Anniversary Commemorative Silver Ingot Collection ". This ROANOKE, VIRGINIA ingot has a serial number of 002740. The bar comes in a separate silver bar vinyl 'flip'. It has been inserted in a 'sleeve' that holds four bars, and, that fits in a page of 4 'sleeves', which means: this bar has been in a vinyl flip, in a vinyl slot, in a vinyl page in the collector's book, inside it's envelope in a safe deposit box for 30 years! Pretty protected. T is some 'storage haze'. You can dip it off, not me. This ingot was issued in 1977 . On the front : ROANOKE, VIRGINIA above a building ( my assumption is it is the bottling plant) and to its right, the straight-sided bottle from 1902 , back to the center-left in the cloud of smoke from the train below, it reads: DRINK DELICIOUS Coca-Cola Trade-mark @[ really the R egistered mark], and the (double W for World Wide Mint, who made the ingots). On the back : At the top, the circle which reads: 1902 - 75 years of Bottled Refreshment - 1977 / and / Wometco Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Roanoke, Inc ., encircling the 75th Anniversary emblem in the diamond . At the bottom of the ingot is the all familiar square with the Enjoy Coca-Cola, Trade-mark and " swipe ". All backgrounds are shiny proof-like. All pictures and lettering are frosty. read more
