Coiffe Limoges Plate Antique Floral Gold Trim 1891-1914 You are bidding on a beautiful Limoges France Plate . This antique item shows some very light wear to the paint on the raised silver background ridges of the plate but t are no chips or cracks. The plate features exquisite hand painted flowers, a scalloped border of pink with gold accent trim and has a diameter of 8". The hand painting is detailed and delicate featuring soft colors of pink, yellow, white and green. The plate is marked Limoges France in green with the mark of Coiffe Limoges Porcelains. The L. and E. Coiffe Limoges porcelain factory operated from the mid 1870s to the mid 1920s and was a prolific producer of quality whiteware. The Porcelain mark includes a distinctive 7 point star, the one on this plate was used from 1891-1914.
