Forged from 1050 High Carbon Spring Steel, these swords are capable of severing 7" thick bamboo! The Cold Steel factory has used only traditional materials for our Japanese swords' fittings. The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi (collar), and Kashira (pommel) are expertly made and finely crafted from black iron. The Habaki (blade collar) is hand-made out of polished brass and each hilt is covered in Same (ray skin) and tightly wrapped in the traditional "cross-over" style with black cord. Also comes with a blue-violet cover bag. Covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. We ship by UPS Ground for $18.00.
