Cold War Veteran Challenge Coin! FOR THOSE VETERANS WHO SERVED, AND PLAYED AN INTEGRAL PART IN BRINGING "THE WALL" DOWN, AND FREED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD... LETTING FREEDOM RING. Super graphics! This coin has a unique design which symbolizes the Cold War between the former United Soviet Socialist Republic/USSR (now Russia). The front of the coin has symbols of the US and Soviet Union, a map of East and West Germany, Checkpoint Charlie (at the Berlin Wall), and an US Eagle attacking a Russian/Soviet Bear, and a missile in the middle. The back has an eagle over a ribbon. The ribbon has never been authorized for wear. It also has the five US services logos. It is a large 2 inch coin with heavy antique silver plating.
