Model 252A manufactured 1965-1979. This was the last year of production for this model: 252A Most of Colemans products were painted over the metal parts Without Primer. This can be seen here as the paint is not adhered as well as it could be with a primer undercoating. The Military wanted a lantern that would burn multiple fuel types under any conditions. Good Luck ! Stick with Coleman fuel. Dont over pump the Military lanterns, they operate on a lower pressure: many a dozen pumps of air maximum. The lantern has the original Quad glass for this period. The earlier 252s Each 1/4 pane was etched "Quad Glass" Anyway, enough history, The lantern is nice :see pictures. The spare parts tube in the fount is not perfectly round, but the cap does thread on and off. There Are NO spare parts or tools included with this lantern.
