Collette et Cie Musical Egg Plays To Love Again This new vintage Collette et Cie egg is a lovely music and trinket box. The detailed design is exquisite. The center, as you open the egg, has what I think is a beautiful golden jeweled honey bee... though my husband thinks it is a dragon fly...? The egg has lovely deep burgundy red enamel, with garland scrollwork gold accents, golden circles, and yellow, red, and orange rhinestone crystals (one is missing above right of bee; please see pictures) in a beautiful pattern all around the egg. The egg sits on 3 strong golden legs. When you open the lid of this gorgeous egg, the inside has a small keepsake area, with soft cream-colored lining. The space would be perfect for storing jewelry like rings and earrings. The top part of the egg has the wind-up key for the music box. When you open the egg, it plays "To Love Again." The music stops when you close the lid. The egg measures approximately 5.7 inches high and 3 inches in diameter (across the middle). It is very heavy, so the egg with the attached tag will be securely packaged. Collette et Cie makes different designs of collectible egg music boxes.
