Collectible Pierce Arrow Glass and Coaster Set, coaster has felt on the bottom not to mark furniture. Glass has writing on one side while picture of vehicle on other side. Match set.Writing on back of glass reads:The Pierce-Arrow legend began humbly in 1901, with the 23/4hp Pierce Motorette. In 1904, named Great Arrow, it had 28hp.The Pierce-Arrow trademark was introduced in 1909; by 1910, it was available in three sizes of 6-cylinder models; 38hp, 48hp, 60hp. As Pierce-Arrow cars grew in power and luxury, they grew in reputation as well. They stayed in favor longer than other prestige cars build in the U. S., until 1938, when the company went out of business.
