You are bidding on a Vintage Antique Washing Machine Wringer. We acquired this wonderful Wringer at an estate sale. The Wringer Washer was attached to a utility tub and was used by the previous owner (who was 87 years old) to wring out rags used in his garage. Writing on one side of the Wringer reads: No. 110 Brighton Rolls 10 x 1 3⁄4 Inches Solid Rubber Rolls Vulcanized Shaft Loosen Top Screws When Not in Use Keep Bearings Well Oiled To Wring Clothes Dry Spread Them Evenly And Avoid Lumps And Bunches Washing Fluids and Oils Are Injurious To The Rubber The Hold Fast Clamp on This Wringer Will Fasten To Galvanized Iron Wooden or Fiber Tubs Patented June 20, 1899 Writing on the other side of the Wringer reads: No. 110 Brighton Rolls 10 x 1 3⁄4 Inches T is also writing down each side edge, which reads âe~Oil the Bearings Frequentlyâe(tm) and âe~Loosen Top Screws After Usingâe(tm). Other than washing off some of the dust and dirt, this Brighton Wringer Washer is as we found it. The crank handle, rollers and clamps all turn smoothly. The Wringer measures approximately 26 inches long (as measured from the tip of the crank handle to the edge of the gears on the opposite side and stands approximately 16 inches tall and is approximately 5-3/4 inches deep (from the back side edge to the edge of the protective flap). read more
