After searching the net, looking at ancient Stone Axe Heads from around the world, I'm still not positive where these 11 Axe Heads and two grinding stone are from and I suspect they are from several different European countries, including England and France. The largest stone is made from a fine gray stone and measures 26.8cm long by 8.5cm wide by 4cm at its thickest point. The edge curves smoothly to the sides, which are rounded and travel to a long point. I found several heads like this that were French. The next ancient Axe Head is made from a green stone and measures 17cm long by 7.5com wide by 4cm thick. When this stone was polished it would look wonderful. There are three other small green stone Axe Heads, but all the others are a grey stone. The last 10 Axe heads measure between 13cm long by 6cm wide by 2.5cm thick down to only 6.5cm by 3.8cm by 2cm. As you look at all the photographs you can see that overall, these ancient stone tools are in good condition, but there are both small and a few large ancient chips. The last two tools are a small 3.5 by 4.5 green stone grinding tool and a 9.5cm diameter by 5cm thick corn grinder. ...... We could have listed these ancient stone tools separately, but the collection has been together for many years and we are listing all thirteen stone tools in one lot and without any reserve.
