** COLLECTORS KNIFE** *VINTAGE* COLD STEEL Tanto Military Knife, Model 13A [Mint-in-Box, New-Old-Stock]. This is the knife that put COLD STEEL "on the map" -- it's famous tanto that is so tough it could be driven through the hood of a car without damage to the knife [didn't do the car hood much good though!]. This knife is a very early production Model 13A in Brass that is factory new, but is old stock. This knife has been in original packing since manufacture until taken out for the auction photographs. It is in *pristine new* condition and the brass literally glows. [Note: t is a bit of verdigras on the hilt that I will leave.] This knife has been sitting around for a long time waiting for the right new owner! Comes with new black leather sheath and original packing in the older black and silver COLD STEEL box that is in very good condition. Includes all original paperwork in the knife's original bubble wrap envelope. This COLD STEEL knife has a 3/16" -thick blade with a length of 6 inches; overall length of 11 inches -- the same as its Model 18 brother [see eBay auction93 for a vintage Collectors Quality early "Outdoorsman" Model 18 Hunting Knife].
