I have a nice old Pfleuger model 1893-L baitcasting reel that I got at an estate sale here in New Mexico. It comes with the original box! This reel has "anti-backlash, level wind, scarlet jeweled, quadruple multiplying, in polished diamolite." And, it has the bulldog logo! It is a strong reel and was obviously well cared for as it is still in great condition. Both reel crank handles are in solid condition. I wouldn't be afraid to use it today for fishing! There is no rust, corrosion or broken parts, just a little normal boat rash. I think it is collector quality. Look at the photos and decide for yourself. The price is right!
