1919 First Edition numbered 1048 of 1,200 with rough cut watermarked paper. Top edge gold gilt. Numerous photos. I have included a photo of the contents page to reflect the specific subject's addressed. Each topic has numerous photographic examples. I have also included a photo of the first page of the Forward. The book provides an organized assessment of colonial architecture in Salem The Colonial Architecture of Salem Frank Cousins and Phil M. Riley Published by Little Brown and Company, Boston, 1919 CONDITION: Split in cloth at bottom of front hinge (last photo). Water stain at lower spine that is gone by page 8 (photo 10). A second similar stain that affects the last thirty pages of the book (photo 11). Boards are bumped with edge and corner wear. Very stable overall and one of a limited number.
