Contained within this hardcover book, collectible in itself, is an original woodcut by the famous Gustave Baumann (1881-1971). It comes right after an article written by Pearl S. Buck. Baumann was a German American leading woodcut artist who settled in Santa Fe, NM. His works are represented by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, The National Gallery etc. This work depicts the powerful eagle dance and is in excellent condition.
