Up for sale today is an original watercolor painting by Colorado Springs artist Winifred Owens. Ms. Owens received her art education at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center under the instruction of Kunioshi, Mangravite, and Jean Charlot. She also studied with Edmund Kinzinger at the Taos Art Colony. The painting for sale today features a wonderful mountain stream. The painting was recently purchased from an estate in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Title: UnknownDate: 1949Medium: WatercolorDimensions: frame 16 x 17 1/2 inches painting 6 1/2 x 8 inchesSignatures: Signed bottom bottom right on mat.The painting is in really good condition. The colors are strong. The painting was reframed in the 1990's with the original mat. There is a light stain on that mat and a few light scratches to the frame (see photo). There It is a beautiful painting and is ready to hang.Please see all photos for specific condition.
