NOTE - after this auction finishes (26/27th November), I will not be listing any items until Sunday 28th December. An unmounted 9 x 6 cm Dufay colour transparency of Dolgoch station sporting it's fresh coat of green paint applied by Tom Rolt, as described in his book Railway Adventure , page 72 . Taken summer 1951. Further research and comments received lead me to suggest that this collection holds what may well be some of the earliest colour images known of this line. On the basis of this, plus the fact that these are unique items, I have added a 3rd p&p option, Special Delivery guaranteed by 1pm, which is fully tracked. This photo is part of a collection spanning the 1940s - 1960s which I will be listing over the coming months. Of varying formats, both colour and monochrome, they were taken by members of a family with a connection to the upper echelons of the SR. The collection covers standard and narrow gauge locations - main line, branch line and industrial. Scanned at 300dpi on an Epson 4490, then saved in Adobe Photoshop. Unless specifically stated (some are colour casted and have been easily corrected, in which case both 'before' and 'after' images will be portrayed), no colour correction or sharpening of these images has taken place.
