Estate find. US Helmet. Was told that the veteran was a Korean War vet. The helmet and liner are in very good condition with all straps in good condition. There's one spot on helmet where the finish has popped off. Numbers stamped on inside of helmet are 10254. The helmet liner has a yellow 56 stamped in the rear and US 12 stamped in the crown. The sweat band has markings but no date that I could find. The liner has a strap that fits behind the head so that the helmet doesn't fall off when you lean forward? I am no expert on the subject of helmets so look the pictures over carefully please and ask questions before you bid as no returns are accepted. I am offering free shipment to US and Canada only.
