Kit No. P2 Douglas A-26 Invader 30" wingspan flying balsa wood scale model construction kit for rubber power. Manufactured in U.S.A. Classic stick & tissue balsa construction with printed balsa parts. First kitted by Comet over SIXTY years ago, this beauty was ~continuously produced until Comet's demise in the 1990's. The condition of this particular example could best be described as 'good'. The box is mildly shelf-worn. A complete and accurate inventory of the exact box contents yields the following: Balsa print wood sheets (x5), Wooden (pine?) sticks sheets (x2), Balsa blocks (x5), Thrust buttons (x2), Main wheels (x2), Nose wheel (x1), Landing gear dowels (x3), Prop hub dowel (x1), Card stock parts pattern sheet (x1), Paper stock patterns sheet w/insignia (x1), Full-size original plans sheet (x1), Covering tissue.
