Designed for continuous operation as an accessory on a layout or as an intriguing novelty item, the Comet is the most realistic working roller coaster model on the market. Modeled after the timeless and classic lines of a real wooden coaster, this kit was designed by actual roller coaster engineers to a level of detail that must be seen to appreciate. After climbing the lift hill, the three-car train traverses the realistic course via gravity, just like its full-sized counterpart. The pre-colored plastic structure was designed with ease of assembly in mind. Many parts snap together, however some gluing is involved. The trains roll on precision brass wheels for consistent operation. The compact footprint of the Comet (12" x 28") makes it an unobtrusive yet attention-grabbing addition to any layout.
