Issued 1945-47 these 13/16" litho buttons saw very limited distribution. By our count there were 15 different with seven of those having the same artwork as buttons in the famous Kellogg's Pep set of 86 buttons and eight with artwork different than the Pep buttons. In all cases, the buttons from this kid's clothing maker have reverse text logo "Comic Togs". In this group of eight, Joe Palooka and Steve Canyon are unique to the Tog set. The following six have art the same as the Pep set: Andy Gump (one plus dupe), Dick Tracy, Henry, Orphan Annie, Popeye. Very minor and light wear on each with all VF to Exc. See previous lot of five very scarce Togs.
