Up for auction today for your consideration is a nice COMOYS 1980 CHRISTMAS BRIAR PIPE! Introduction: Most of the pipes i sell are used estate pipes, and occasionaly some are unsmoked. Either way, you can be assured that your pipe will be ready to smoke the moment you recieve it - No cleaning neccesary! I take special care with each pipe, reaming and cleaning the bowls and shanks. I also clean the stems inside and out and carefully hand polish each one to its original shine. Although clean, keep in mind that your pipe may still have a tobacco smoke odor. Thank you and happy smoking and collecting! Markings on shank: "Comoy's" "Christmas 1980" Underside of shank is marked:" Made in London England" "657" "M" Stem: Is marked with a "C" symbol. Description: This is a straight pipe with a billiard shaped bowl and an oval canadian shank with a flush tapered stem. The pipe bowl and shank are smooth. It has a natural satin finish with a light-medium stain, with very nice grain. It has a push in style stem with no filter, and the stem is made of vulcanite. The pipe comes with a box and sock. Condition: This pipe has been moderately smoked. There is no charring or burn throughs anywhere on the bowl, shank, or stem. The bowl and shank are free from any cracks, nicks, or chips.
