Offered is a well preserved and high relief enrolled example of an increasingly rare item for the specialist trilobite collector; an approx. 3.5cm (along axis) enrolled example of Calymene blumenbachi, (Desmarest 1817) from the Upper Silurian, Ludlovian of Hemse Mergel, Sproge, Gotland, Sweden.This attractive specimen is a stratigraphically young subspecies of the famous 'Dudley Bug' from the Wenlock of the English Midlands. It has retained it's original shell material and will clean up easily with modern air tools.No reserve for a well preserved and potentially fine example..........
