Up for auction is a complete set of the Homes of the Presidents collection produced by Danbury Mint. Each is a hand painted, cold-cast porcelain sculpture that faithfully re-creates the White House as well as the homes of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and John Adams. All eight (8) pieces of this limited edition collection were purchased from Danbury Mint in 1995-96 but have never been displayed. They are in mint condition in their original boxes and come with certificates of ownership. See all photos below. Included in this lot are the following replicas and their approximate dimensions: The White House, 6" x 6" x 3" high; Monticello, Charlottesville, VA, home of Thomas Jefferson, 6.5" x 5.5" x 3"; Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon, VA, home of George Washington, 6.5" x 5.5" x 4"; Hyde Park, Hyde Park, NY, home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 6" x 3.5" x 3"; The Hermitage, Nashville, TN, home of Andrew Jackson, 5.75" x 5.5" x 3.25"; Lincoln's Home, Springfield, IL, home of Abraham Lincoln, 4.5" x 5" x 3.5"; Sagamore Hill, Oyster Bay, NY, home of Theodore Roosevelt, 7" x 6" x 3.75"; The Old House, Quincy, MA, home of John Adams, 6" x 5" x 3".
