Offered is a well preserved and increasingly scarse item for the specialist trilobite collector; a 3cm (along axis) complete semi-prone example of the Swedish Encrinurid Encrinurus macrourus (Schmidt), from the Upper Silurian; Ludlovian of Hemse Mergel, Sproge, Gotland.This example is complete with both librigena and the right genal spine intact. Both robust stalked eyes are also intact. The specimen is laterally distorted, but will clean up well with modern air tools. No reserve for a sharp and complete example of a classic Swedish species!
