What we have here is something every toy train lay-out needs -- a School. This is a complete and all original Plasticville No. SC-4 School which was introduced in 1951. This one I can date to 1954 or 1955 as it has the 'added accessory' sticker that indicated that this unit came with a bus. This one does include one original orange bus as well as an original 48-star flag. The roof on this one is very light gray, almost white. The lights and weathervane are original and there are no breaks. No breaks and no glue residue. When built, this is a very good looking unit. The original box is a second generation version without the die-cut top that could be folded back to form a countertop display in the hobby shop. No tape, but there is a repaired (glue) tear on the back (as seen in the pictures. The School I'll put at C-7 and box I'll grade at P-6. Very nice. Don't let this one get away. WMF.FYI -- After many years of selling Plasticville and American Flyer on a Sunday-to-Sunday basis, Farner's Flyer to shifting the Plasticville to Saturday-to-Saturday until there is a return to train shows (and lets all hope that is sooner than later) and I go back on the road.
