C means poor, likely to have creasing, tears and foxing. Usually I would only list an item in this condition of some historical importance. My definition of a tear - a rip where the page is still complete with no missing portion. Otherwise, if there is a missing part to a page, I would describe that as a loss. My definition of light creasing is where there are some light, not that visible, creases.Otherwise, I would describe as creasing, which means a heavier sort of crease where a corner or a page has been folded back and left a more visible line. I would try to detail such creases. Description isn't a science or probably even an art! but if you do buy something and feel it hasn't been correctly described, please make contact. PROGRAMME - what is a programme? A difference in terminology occasionally causes confusion with some overseas buyers. So, to clarify, a programme in the UK is sold at theatres and contains information about the show and depending on its vintage may or may not include cast and creative biographies, cast photographs, articles about the show, sometimes production or rehearsal pics. It is somewhat akin to a US Playbill, though usually carries more information specific to the production and isn't distributed free. In the UK what is referred to in the US as a programme, is called a Souvenir Brochure,glossy, large format publication with many production pictures.
