RARE Royal Doulton British Airways Early Concorde Gift Set This set includes the cup, saucer & 2 mini salt & pepper shakers. Beautiful pattern featuring the gold hook nosed "Speedbird" Concorde logo in a repeating pattern on a dark blue band. This set is in clean mint condition as it was never used. My grandfather was a world traveling business man and one day on his way overseas got bumped from his flight and the only seat on any airline was on the Concorde and if I am not mistaken, this was her maiden voyage from New York, back in the 70's and he managed to get on it by accident. All the passengers were given these limited Royal Daulton china sets amongst many other gifts or maybe it was a British Airway's standard..... Cup measure's 3" in diameter, Saucer measure's 4 3/8" Shaker's are 1.5" high I do not see any chips, cracks or crazing.
