You are bidding on a Confederate 1st National Flag which has been flown for 6 months over the Historical Home of General James W. Moore. I have flown the 1st National Flag at this house sense we bought it. I remove and replace the flag every 6 months and auction the flags off to help raise money for the General James Moore & Capt. James Thames Memorial Fund which helps us care for the house and Veterans grave sites in Hampton County as well as helps with buying all the grave flags we place out every year. I will start having auctions for Confederate battle flags flown at grave sites as well so keep a look out if you are interested in picking up one of these flags and helping us raise money. Anyway, back to this flag. This is a 3 x 5 nylon flag and again has been flown for 6 months so the color's are not bright as a new one would be. The brass groment holes are rusted but the flag is in very good shape with no holes or tears just discolored from being flown. To read more about General James Moore and this house please read my ABOUT ME page and the flag in the photo of the home is this flag you are bidding on. I will also enclose with the flag a CERTIFICATION certificate that states this flag has been flown over this house. These flags have always been sold local and this is the first one I have put on ebay and remember the money raised read more
