The Confederate Cavalry trooper of the Civil War cut a dashing, romantic figure in a high necked cavalry sack coat in gray with yellow facings. This Confederate Civil War CAVALRY SACK COAT is a ca. 1960s MOVIE STUDIO PROP. It's in good condition, with one small spot of mothing to the gray wool, some light wear to the yellow wool facing at the right cuff, and with a heavily bent "hook and eye" closure at the top of the neck (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the coat is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough "butternut" gray wool construction. It's complete with all of the original metal front buttons, and boasts yellow wool facings at the classic "stand and fall" collar and at the cuffs. It's believed to have been used in the 1965 movie "MAJOR DUNDEE", and is a fine representation of a Confederate Civil War CAVALRY SACK COAT. This is the LAST of our limited stock of these fine sack coats.
