General Alfred Iverson colonel of the 20th North Carolina wounded at the battle of Seven Days. After his recovery fought at South Mountain and Sharpsburg. Promoted brigadier November 1,1862. He commanded his brigade at Gettysburg were on July 1,1863 unknowingly march into a ambush as many as 900 casualties from his brigade. His men were later buried on the the spot on Oak Ridge, which is know to locals as Iverson's Pits. Rare Signature in dark ink 3 x 1 "Reps.Your Alfred Iverson" with engraving in Confederate uniform.
